Thank you to all the employees who continue to participate in the Earnhardt H.E.A.R.T. charity program. 2015 was another successful year of giving, and as our company gets bigger, so do our contributions.
Finishing out the year for the months of November and December, our selected charities were Arizona Animal Welfare League and Hospice of the Valley. Both organizations received $3,100.
Arizona Animal Welfare League is the states oldest and largest no-kill animal shelter. AAWL & SPCA rescues, rehabilitates and re-homes more than 5,000 dogs and cats that are abandoned or that have been surrendered by their owners. They rescue abandoned pets from other shelters in Maricopa County where they are likely to be euthanized due to the lack of time and resources to care for them.
Hospice of the Valley provides compassionate end-of-life care; supporting patients and families and relieving suffering in all realms — physical, emotional and spiritual. HOV serves thousands of families every day throughout central Arizona, including greater Phoenix. No one is ever turned away from Hospice of the Valley, regardless of insurance status or financial means.
